Disaster Preparation Tips

June 1 marks the start of the season, and the lessons are still fresh and unfolding from the impacts of Hurricane Melissa in 2025. Preparation is not optional; it is a necessity at every level – individual, family, community, parish and national.

Educators and law enforcement officers in St. Thomas identified a need for intervention among the youth population. That solution has come in the form of the Police Youth Club in Schools Programme - a structured initiative, designed to bridge the gap between police and youth, and strengthen youth and community development.
