The National Education Trust (NET) will officially launch its newly redesigned website on Tuesday, March 31, marking a significant milestone in advancing public engagement and improving access to information.
Designed with the needs of students, educators, donors, and the wider public in mind, the site offers an intuitive interface, streamlined navigation, and enriched content that highlights the organisation’s achievements and ongoing work.
The modernised platform also reflects NET’s unwavering commitment to transparency, accessibility, and meaningful stakeholder connection.
Executive Director, NET, Latoya Harris-Ghartey, underscored the importance of the development.
“The decision to upgrade was shaped by consistent dialogue with our valued stakeholders, who remain the driving force behind what we do. It reflects the impact of our work in strengthening school infrastructure, mobilising partnerships, and supporting the development of students across Jamaica. Through this platform, we aim to showcase these outcomes while inspiring greater collaboration and investment in education,” she said.
Visitors to the site will be able to explore NET’s programmes and initiatives, access up-to-date information on projects islandwide, and discover new opportunities to contribute to the transformation of Jamaica’s education system.
The platform also provides a seamless experience for donors and partners, enabling them to engage with and support the Trust’s mission more effectively.
According to Mrs. Harris-Ghartey, through its enhanced features, the website will deliver clear value to a wide range of stakeholders.
“Donors and partners gain increased visibility into the impact of their contributions, along with new avenues for collaboration; meanwhile educators and school communities benefit from improved access to information on projects and initiatives that directly support their growth,” she explained.
The wider public, including the Jamaican diaspora, is invited to engage more deeply with the Trust’s work through a transparent, dynamic, and user-friendly experience.
The National Education Trust is urging members of the public to visit the new website at www.net.org.jm and explore the many ways they can get involved in shaping the future of education in Jamaica.
