Beneficiaries of ROOFS Grants urged to redeem vouchers ASAP

With more than $5.2 billion in ROOFS grant in the hands of eligible homeowners, time is of the essence to have these electronic vouchers redeemed. This, as the vouches carry an expiration date. We’ll tell you more in today’s programme.

Civil society organization (CSO) leaders, policymakers and development partners from the Caribbean region recently gathered in Kingston, Jamaica, to participate in the inaugural Caribbean CSO Conference.

Thousands of vulnerable Jamaicans whose home electrical system suffered damage during hurricane Melissa, or who had unsafe electricity wiring, are being safely reconnected to the national grid.
