Join the Ministry of Legal and Constitutional Affairs for the official launch of the Jamaica Legal Information Portal (JLIP) on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 10:00am at the AC Hotel in Kingston.
The platform is intended to improve public access to Jamaica’s laws, educate the public about all aspects of legal information and provide a facility for them to express views on and query the status of any law.
It will feature advanced search functionality and expanded access to laws in various formats, with a particular focus on facilitating access to Jamaica Gazette publications and providing notifications on key judicial and legislative developments.
The Jamaica Information Service(JIS) is aimed at reporting up to date factual Government News for Jamaican Citizens here and abroad. We have packaged it into the Jamaica Magazine and JIS News along with other features. Look through each of our playlists and you will be able to find various features highlighting the Government’s endeavour to meet its mandate.
