Minister of Science, Energy, Telecommunications and Transport, Hon. The Government of Jamaica received 100 new CNG buses on Monday, July 15 as part of efforts to enhance the capacity of the JUTC and reduce wait time and discomfort of the commuting public.
A Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) bus is being refueled at the New Fortress Energy Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fueling station in Portmore, St. Catherine, on Tuesday (July 30). The station, which was expanded in anticipation of the arrival of the 100 CNG buses that have been added to the JUTC fleet, is up and running even as smaller civil works such as dressing of canopies and painting are being completed.
Workmen put the finishing touches on the New Fortress Energy Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fueling station expansion project in Portmore, St. Catherine, on Tuesday (July 30). The station was expanded ahead of the arrival of the 100 CNG buses that have been added to the fleet of the Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC). The facility is up and running even as smaller civil works such as dressing of canopies and painting are being completed.
