Occasion was the Commissioning of a Column Still and tour of a Dunder Treatment Plant, at the New Yarmouth Distillery, New Yarmouth, Clarendon, on Friday (February 9). Following the acquisition by the Campari Group in 2012, over US$193M has been invested into J. Wray and Nephew Limited (JWN), with new capital projects coming on stream on an annual basis. The new state-of-the-art Column Still will elevate the production facility to the highest standards for rum production in Jamaica making the local process even more competitive globally.
