The Bureau of Gender Affairs (BGA), the Government agency tasked with raising awareness about and helping to eliminate gender-based violence, has launched an initiative geared at bringing its message to Jamaicans at the grassroots level.
The ‘No Excuse for Abuse’ Community Chat initiative involves talks with residents, as well as the distribution of resource materials, in areas determined to be gender-based violence hotspots.
