The new academic year officially started on Monday, September 5 and is expected to be in full swing this week as more schools open their doors. With the resumption of schools naturally comes the issue of transportation for students. That in mind, Minister of Transport and Mining, Audley Shaw says some 100 Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) buses have been restored and put back in operation to meet the transportation needs of students and teachers.
