Civil society organization (CSO) leaders, policymakers and development partners from the Caribbean region recently gathered in Kingston, Jamaica, to participate in the inaugural Caribbean CSO Conference.

Thousands of vulnerable Jamaicans whose home electrical system suffered damage during hurricane Melissa, or who had unsafe electricity wiring, are being safely reconnected to the national grid. They are being powered through the government’s National Energy Poverty Reduction Project. Stay tuned for the latest on the programme.
