If not the public service, Dr. Wayne Henry would most likely be in academia. Having kickstarted his career as a teacher, he says that profession remains a favorite for him.
Today when you hear his name, it’s usually associated with growth forecasts and sustainable development.
Dr. Wayne Henry is the current Director General of the Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ) and initiates and coordinates plans for Jamaica’s sustainable development.
For outstanding public service in the development of Jamaica’s Sustainable Development Policies, Dr. Wayne Henry has been conferred membership in the Order of Distinction in the rank of Commander.
