As the effects of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Jamaica continue to escalate, with the country recording its first death from the virus on March 18. The number of persons returning positive tests slowly continues to rise, reinforcing the need for swift contact tracing and quarantining in order to stop the spread. Among the measures taken in that regard was the quarantining of the Seven and Eight Miles communities in St. Andrew.
