PM Simpson Miller Names Senators

Prime Minister, Portia Simpson Miller has named the 13 Senators to serve in the Upper House of Parliament.

The PM, in a letter, today (Jan 16) advised Governor-General, His Excellency the Most Hon. Sir Patrick Allen of the appointments.  

The following persons to be appointed as Senators with effect from January 17, 2012 are:
