To date, 250 roads have been fixed under the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries farm road rehabilitation programme at a cost of over 1.6 billion dollars. Improved access to the farming communities has spurred increased agricultural productivity across the island. With the programme set to continue into the New Year the Ministry is appealing to farmers in communities which have not yet benefited to submit their requests for road repairs by mid-January.
