Western Regional Health Authority Encourages and Supports Breast Feeding Programme

Nursing or Breastfeeding a baby for at least the first six months of life is highly recommended. This is one of the reasons the Western Regional Health Authority WRHA continues to implement strategies to encourage and support breastfeeding among mothers on that end of the island. Parish Nutritionist with the WRHA, Doncia Murray, says the Authority has established ‘Mother to Mother’ support groups in John’s Hall, St James, and Whitehouse, Westmoreland.
