Tourism… focus of tonight’s ‘Jamaica House Live’

When ‘Jamaica House Live’, the Prime Minister’s call-in radio programme opens its microphones tonight, listeners will get first hand reports on the industry’s performance from the Minister of Tourism, Ed Bartlett.

Minister Bartlett will be live in studio to take calls, answers questions and give a general update on Jamaica’s performance which has been seeing growth in arrival figures both for stop- over visitors and cruise ship passengers.

Recent  initiatives in the tourism  sector through the opening of the Montego Bay Convention Centre, the hosting of the first  major convention, Caribbean Marketplace,  plans for an upcoming Caribbean Hotel and Tourist Association investment seminar, plus this weekend’s staging of the Jamaica Jazz festival, will also be discussed.

‘Jamaica House’ Live is aired on Nationwide News Network, RJR 94 FM, Kool 97 FM, Irie FM, Bess FM, Roots, Power 106, Hot 102, Mello FM 88 and KLAS FM.
