Mandela and Somerton To Virgin Valley Roadway Updates Incomplete
As the National Works Agency NWA says the Mandela Highway is practically complete, with motorists now enjoying use of both carriageways comprising six lanes. Important safety works however continue along a few sections of the project site where traffic is not yet permitted and motorists are advised not to use.
Dyke Road Box Culvert Update & Howard Cooke Bridge
Paving works are almost complete on the Dyke Road Box Culvert and Passage fort Drive and Dyke Road in Portmore St. Catherine have been reconnected as works are substantially complete to fix a section of the roadway that collapsed after heavy rains in late 2017.

The National Works Agency NWA will soon begin work to improve the flow of traffic at the Jamaica Defence Force JDF’s South Camp Road entrance to Up Park Camp. The NWA says currently, vehicles entering and exiting Up Park Camp via South Camp road interrupt the flow of traffic along the busy roadway.
Duh Road Rock Bridge in Trelawny and Junction Road Closure
Motorists who normally use the Junction Road at the community of Broad gate in St. Mary will not be able to access the road after March 5.
