Residents in communities subjected to frequent and prolonged water service disruptions are to benefit from a bill redemption system. Minister with Responsibility for Water Senator Pearnel Charles Jr says the National Water Commission (NWC) is collaborating with the Jamaica Social Investment Fund (JSIF) to implement a debt write-off initiative for residents of the most hard-hit communities. He says the system is to be implemented under specific conditions and procedures.
