Minister of Health and Wellness Dr. Christopher Tufton is encouraging the public to remain calm amidst the rapid increase in local COVID-19 cases. A spike in cases was noted last week, due in part to an outbreak at the Alorica Business Process Outsourcing Centre in St. Catherine. Over 50 confirmed cases have been linked to the call centre. Dr. Tufton says while it is a difficult time, panicking is not the appropriate response to a crisis of this nature.
