Launch Of RP 20 Website
Jamaica is gearing up to host the 7th Regional Platform on Disaster Risk Reduction in the Americas and the Caribbean (RP20). Minister of Local Government and Community Development, Desmond McKenzie says with Jamaica’s hosting of the international conference, he anticipates that greater focus will be placed on disaster mitigation strategies for small island developing states (SIDS).
