Energy Efficiency Testing & Labelling Programme – July 23, 2021
The Bureau of Standards Jamaica and the National Compliance and Regulatory Authority have revamped the Energy Efficiency and Labelling Programme, which requires importers, distributors and retailers of refrigerators, freezers, wine coolers and room air conditioning units to submit these items for energy efficiency tests by the BSJ or other approved designated facilities.
