Teaching for Helen Douglas is more than imparting knowledge to her students. She says it includes building a relationship with a child and their parent(s) with the objective of bringing out the best in the child.
On Heroes Day, October 18, Ms. Douglas was conferred with membership in the Order of Distinction, in the rank of officer for dedicated service and commitment to excellence in education.
