To help remedy the closing down of the Monymusk sugar factory in Clarendon, the Government made arrangements to truck this year’s sugar cane crop outside the parish to the Appleton and Worthy Park Estates in St. Elizabeth. Agriculture Minister Audley Shaw says so far, that arrangement has been doing well.
