The Kenneth Standard Health Centre in St Andrew is the latest facility to benefit from the injection of well needed equipment and resources under the Adopt-A-Clinic initiative.
The Adopt-A-Clinic initiative started in 2017 and seeks to engage the private sector, locally and in the diaspora, to play a critical role in improving the provision and access to primary healthcare, via philanthropic support to a pool of 100 clinics across the island.
Jamaica’s Consul General (CG) to Miami, Oliver Mair led the initiative that led to the donation of medical equipment valued at $3 million through the Jamaican Hi-5K Walk/Run.
