Upskilling of our doctors and nurses is necessary for our island’s health care system to function effectively. Recognising this, Jamaica has signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MOU with the United Kingdom UK to train Critical Care Nurses. The MOU was officially signed by Health & Wellness Minister, Dr. Christopher Tufton and Chief Medical Officer of the UK & Northern Ireland, Professor Sally Davies at the World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland on May 23.
