The opportunity to export products is an exciting prospect for any Jamaican business. It allows them to gain a foothold in new markets and grow their operations significantly.
Exporting does, however, have its risks, especially when selling good on credit. Exporter may not receive payment on time or at all, putting their business in jeopardy.
To help protect themselves from these pitfalls, exporters can take advantage of the National Export-Import Bank of Jamaica (EXIM Bank’s) trade credit insurance facility.
