Many Jamaicans rely on the services of public health facilities. In fact, the array of medical services they provide are vital to health and wellbeing of thousands at the community level.
Sadly however, the look and feel of many of them does not reflect their significance to communities and their residents. Many of them even lack critical equipment to provide basic services to patients.
It was with this in mind that the Government recently introduced a programme to rehabilitee health facilities across the island.
