PM’s Final National Broadcast, Saturday

KINGSTON — The Prime Minister, the Hon Bruce Golding, will deliver his final address to the nation, as Prime Minister, on Saturday, October 22 in a broadcast to be aired at 8 p.m. on all major radio and television stations.

Mr. Golding is expected to address, among other things, steps that have already been taken to ensure the smooth transition of leadership to Prime Minister Designate, the Hon Andrew Holness, on Sunday, October 23.

In the course of his   full working day on Friday (October 21), Mr. Golding took the time to meet with members of the diplomatic corps, the staff of the OPM and the Cabinet, during which he expressed his appreciation for their co-operation and support throughout his four years as  Head of the Government.

Mr Golding's national broadcast will be carried on all radio and television stations and will be streamed live on the Internet at http://www.jis.gov.jm/livestream.
