Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Her Excellency Maria Mendoza Ortega, places a wreath at the statue of the Great Liberator, Simón Bolívar, at National Heroes Circle in Kingston. Occasion was today’s (March 7) wreath laying ceremony for the late President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, His Excellency Hugo Chavez Frías, who died on March 5.

An emotional moment for Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Senator the Hon. A.J. Nicholson, at today’s (March 7) wreath laying ceremony for the late President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, His Excellency Hugo Chavez Frías, who died on March 5. The wreaths were laid at the statue of the Great Liberator, Simón Bolívar at National Heroes Circle in Kingston. Also participating were: Minister of Science, Technology, Energy and Mining, the Hon. Phillip Paulwell; Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Her Excellency Maria Mendoza Ortega; and the Chairman of the Petro Caribe Development Fund and Financial Secretary, Devon Rowe.
