No appointments of members to the various Boards of Management of entities under the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM), including the Urban Development Corporation, UDC, have yet been finalised.
Responding to reports in the on-line Gleaner about Attorney-at-Law, David Rowe, to head the UDC, Prime Minister Simpson Miller said the process of identifying board appointees is on-going but no decision has yet been made.
The Prime Minister further clarified that the practice of appointing Executive Chairmen of boards has been discontinued.
OPM will issue the appropriate advisory of appointments to the various boards as soon as these have been finalised.
