JISTV | Ministry of Labour and Social Security Launch of the Solidarity Programme

The $1 Billion Solidarity Programme is part of the Government’s response to reach those vulnerable persons who were previously excluded from social protection services. The programme is a one-time cash transfer initiative designed to reach 50,000 individuals who are not currently benefiting from PATH/Poor Relief, the Social Pension Programme, NIS, or any other similar social protection programme and who did not benefit from The Government of Jamaica Reverse Income Tax Credit.

The Jamaica Information Service(JIS) is aimed at reporting up to date factual Government News for Jamaican Citizens here and abroad.
