JISTV | Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Breaton Main Road to Hellshire

The government has embarked on a multi-billion-dollar programme of works through the Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) Programme. Through this programme, several projects are to be undertaken.

The reconstruction of the Naggo Head to Braeton Road is the 2nd to be undertaken in Portmore and is to be done at a cost of $2.3 – Billion. The 1st project under the programme (widening of Passsagefort Drive), is now 99% complete through a contract valued at $925 million.
