Education Stakeholders to Meet Tuesday
Senior Medical Officer of the Savanna-la-Mar Public General Hospital in Westmoreland, Dr. Suman Vemu (left), and Chief Executive Officer, Roan Grant, have expressed gratitude to healthcare workers who journeyed to the facility on Sunday (November 2), as part of the Ministry of Health and Wellness’ Solidarity Cleanup Exercise. Under the initiative, more than 200 volunteers, including Ministry representatives, travelled to Falmouth, Cornwall Regional, Noel Holmes, and Savanna-la-Mar Hospitals to assist with cleanup efforts following Hurricane Melissa’s passage on October 28.
