Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Senator the Hon. Kamina Johnson Smith, emphasises a point while piloting the Representation of the People (Postponement of Elections to Municipal Corporations and City Municipalities) Act, 2022, in the Senate on February 4. The Bill allows for the postponement of the local government elections for a further 12 months, to be held no later than February 28, 2023.
