Health Centres in SRHA to be Upgraded
Health Minister, Hon. Dr. Fenton Ferguson (2nd left), participates in the symbolic presentation of a $123 million (US$117,176) grant agreement being provided by the Government of Japan to the Bustamante Hospital for Children for the acquisition of vital medical equipment, following Wednesday’s (March 26) signing ceremony at the institution. Also participating: are: the hospital Chief Executive Officer, Anthony Wood (left), and Chargé d’Affaires at the Japanese Embassy in Jamaica, Koji Tomita (2nd right), both of whom signed the agreement, and South East Regional Health Authority (SERHA) Acting Chairman, Dr. Andrei Cooke.
