Portia Simpson Miller (left); and President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, His Excellency Nicolás Maduro, exchange warm greetings just before the start of the ceremony to officially open the Simón Bolívar Cultural Centre in downtown Kingston today (Sept. 6). The centre, named in honour of South American Liberator and Venezuelan Revolutionary Leader, Simón Bolívar, is a gift to Jamaica from Venezuela.
