Excellent Marcus Garvey, at the St. Ann Parish Library in St. Ann’s Bay, on Monday, August 17. At the function, Mayor Gilmore announced that Darren Phillips, who will be attending the Marcus Garvey Technical High School in September, is the recipient of a $250,000 Marcus Garvey Scholarship, given by the St. Ann Parish Council. Darren, who attended Clapham Primary School, was awarded for his performance in the GSAT exam.
