Whenever you visit your local health centre or hospital, you’re greeted by the many doctors and nurses who check your vitals, evaluate your condition and then administer treatment to get you on your way to full recovery. Sometimes you may have to wait a bit to get treatment but once you do the process seems to go seamlessly.
There is however a problem that sometimes goes unnoticed. What’s that? There aren’t enough healthcare workers to meet the growing health demands locally. This contributes to longer wait times at public facilities and other challenges.
