JISTV | Launch of the 2025 Public Sector Debate Competition

The Public Sector Debate Competition, scheduled to take place between April and July 2025, will engage teams in parliamentary-style debating on matters relating to public-sector transformation and current affairs.

In this year’s staging, we have added another preliminary round to give each team the chance to play two matches before the knockout round. This will enrich the competition as well as the experience of participants, especially the first-time entrants.

The Jamaica Information Service(JIS) is aimed at reporting up to date factual Government News for Jamaican Citizens here and abroad. We have packaged it into the Jamaica Magazine and JIS News along with other features. Look through each of our playlists and you will be able to find various features highlighting the Government’s endeavour to meet its mandate.
