Jamaica’s Ambassador to the United States and Permanent Representative to the Organization of American States (OAS), Her Excellency Audrey Marks, places a floral tribute at the bust of Jamaica's First National Hero, the Right Excellent Marcus Mosiah Garvey, in the Hall of Heroines and Heroes at the OAS in Washington DC on March 18. Occasion was a ceremony to mark the 7th Inter-American Week for People of African Descent. She is joined by Secretary General of the OAS, His Excellency Luis Almagro (left) and OAS Assistant Secretary General, Ambassador Nesta Mendez.
