This was after a meeting at the Ministry’s offices in New Kingston on Thursday (June 8), to announce collaboration with the Government of Jamaica to deliver a Technical Cooperation Project titled ‘Capacity Building on the Community Police – KOBAN System’. The project was proposed by the Ministry of National Security, based on the list of priorities presented by the Jamaican Government. To be implemented by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Kingston, and the Brazilian Cooperation Agency (ABC), the project will strengthen the Jamaica Constabulary Force community policing capacity.
