The constant recklessness and misuse of our roads continues to claim the lives of countless Jamaicans, including the nations young people. According to statistics from the Road Safety Unit and Island Traffic Authority in the Ministry of Transport and Mining, 19 children died in road fatalities in 2022 – 12 males and 7 females.
