The Port Authority of Jamaica (PAJ) says steps are being taken to expand the capacity of the local cruise industry to accommodate the largest types of vessels. Vice President of Cruise Shipping and Marina operations at the PAJ William Tatham says with more cruise operators switching to LNG powered ships, the establishment of New Fortress Energy’s LNG facilities in Montego Bay will make Jamaica more attractive to larger cruise vessels.
