More than 10-thousand exhibitors from 188 countries gathered in Berlin from March 6 – 10, to present their products and services at the world’s largest tourism convention – ITB Berlin.Some 1–hundred ministers of tourism and state secretaries from around the world were also in attendance – among them, Tourism and Entertainment Minister, Dr. Wykeham McNeil.
He was on hand to share information about Jamaica to the approximately 60-thousand members of the general public who came to find out about the wide-ranging information on offer from exhibitors and providers of niche market products.

Shoreline Protection

Natural shorelines are the undeveloped fringe areas along the edge of a water body. They connect the shallow aquatic portion of the water body with adjacent upland. These areas provide important environmental functions, such as regulating water quality, including temperature, clarity, nutrients, and contaminants. Additionally, they sustain critical habitat for a variety of organisms, such as invertebrates, fish, amphibians, reptiles, shorebirds and waterfowl, and mammals.

The Rastafarian Indigenous Village situated in Portebello, Irwin in St. James is a community based tourism project poised to bring tremendous benefits to the island.The village boasts a Solomonic Mall, Herbal Pharmacy, Ital Spice Kitchen, Ises or Conference Hall, I-tech Centre, Museum, Print Shop, Recording Studio, and a Wellness Centre and Healing Garden.
The facility is 95 percent complete.
