Scores of homeless persons and some of St. Ann’s most vulnerable residents were treated to hot meals on January 2 by Correctional Officer and Philanthropist, Donovan Small, in collaboration with members of the Bamboo United Pentecostal Church.

Education Ministry Committed To Greater Inclusion Of Children With Disabilities

Minister of Education and Youth, Fayval Williams says her ministry remains committed to ensuring greater inclusion of children with disabilities, adding that no child should be denied registration in school because of a disability. Through the Jamaica Teaching Council Bill, the Ministry will aim to ensure that all teachers are exposed to special education training to create an environment of greater understanding of students with disabilities.
