Jamaica’s Promise – Jonathan Grant High Student of the Year Award

We often say in Jamaica that “Encouragement sweetens labour” and the St. Catherine based Jonathan Grant High School is using its Student of The Month Award to encourage students to strive for academic excellence and become positive role models among their peers.  Miss Shevan Wilson, a teacher at Jonathan Grant High, says the initiative’s main goal is to show students that there is plenty out there for them to experience if they strive to achieve.
