With the prospect of a new year, the National Road Safety Council, NRSC remains hopeful as it prepares to advance road-safety activities aimed at stemming the bloodletting on the nation’s roads.
From January to December 28, 2023, the Road safety Unit recorded 417 fatalities, a 14 percent reduction compared to the 483 people killed in traffic crashes for the corresponding period in 2022, however, this is still too many.
As the Council resets to take on the challenges of another year, we will share some of the initiatives that will continue into 2024. Stay tuned.
