A land bank is being developed to identify property across the island that’s suitable for agriculture, but not being used for this purpose. Agriculture Ministry, Audley Shaw says the lands are classified in three categories: sugar company lands that are no longer being used for planting cane, lands held by the National Land Agency NLA and mined out bauxite lands.
