Prime Minister the Most Hon. Portia Simpson Miller attended the Petro Caribe Heads of Government meeting in Caracas, Venezuela on Tuesday, December 17.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by Dr. Carlton Davis, Senior Advisor in the Office of the Prime Minister, along with support and security staff.
The Prime Minister will join the Hon. Phillip Paulwell, Minister of Science, Technology, Energy and Mining, who is already in Venezuela attending the ministerial meetings.
Prime Minister Simpson Miller will return to the island later this evening. While away on official business, Hon Roger Clarke, Minister of Agriculture will be in charge of the Government.
