High Alert for Flood-Prone Areas

The Meteorological Service has reported that the forecast for the island is an increase in showers and thunderstorms starting late Wednesday October 6, 2010 and continuing through the weekend. This is due to a broad area of Low Pressure over the eastern Caribbean.
The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM) is advising persons living in the following flood-prone areas be on high alert and prepare to evacuate when necessary.Read more…
