Sri Lanka’s PM Congratulates Jamaica on Independence

Sri Lanka’s Prime Minister, Ratnasiri Wickramanayaka, has sent a congratulatory message to Jamaica, on the occasion of the island’s 46th Independence anniversary.
The message was sent to Prime Minister Bruce Golding, through the Permanent Mission of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the United Nations and the Permanent Mission of Jamaica to the United Nations.
In his message, Prime Minister Wickramanayaka, expressed the hope that the friendly relations that exist between Jamaica and Sri Lanka, will be further strengthened through increased co-operation in the years ahead.
He also expressed his wish for continued good health and the personal well being for Prime Minister Golding.
